What You'll Need:
·1/4 cup olive oil
·1 cup chopped onion
·4 cloves garlic, minced
·1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
·1 cup pitted ripe olives, halved
·1/2 teaspoon salt
·1 teaspoon black pepper
·1 tablespoon sugar
·3/4 cup chicken broth
·1/2 cup coarsely chopped basil leaves
·1 pound spaghetti, cooked according to package directions
What To Do:
1.In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil; add onion and garlic and sauté 3 to 5 minutes, or until softened.
2.Stir in crushed tomatoes, olives, salt, and pepper; cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add sugar and chicken broth; cook 10 additional minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in basil and serve over spaghetti.
