Wichita Meals On Wheels Needs Drivers

Wichita Meals On Wheels needs volunteer drivers to deliver food on Thursday.

There are 14 open routes in which regular volunteer drivers have canceled.

To volunteer you need a car and valid driver's license. You will be provided a map with a route--typically 12 to 15 meals in a neighborhood within Wichita city limits. Most routes take an hour in normal weather conditions.

To volunteer call Meals on Wheels at (316) 267-0122 in the morning or come to Senior Services, Inc. of Wichita at 200 S. Walnut between 9:30 and 11:00 AM to pick up a route.
