Progress has been made, but many dangerous or toxic toys are still on store shelves. That's according to the 25th annual Trouble in Toyland report released Tuesday by the U.S. Public Interest Research Group (PIRG).
The report focused on three main hazards; soft plastic toys containing chemicals called phthalates, toys that pose a choking risk and toys that contain lead.
Overall, PIRG says the Federal Government is doing a better job of recalling and regulating toys than they did just a few years ago.
