A 75-year-old driver apparently suffered a medical condition and crashed into several vehicles on South Broadway early Wednesday morning.
Deputies Tom Delgado and Joe Page arrived to find the truck engulfed in flames, and the driver still trapped inside.
Sedgwick County Sheriff Bob Hinshaw says the deputies didn't hesitate to go to the burning vehicle and cut the seat belt from the driver, and pull him to safety. The rescue was all caught on one of the deputy's dash cameras. The sheriff says he's proud of his guys.
The deputies and the victim were taken to the hospital suffering from smoke inhalation. The driver is listed in fair condition, the deputies were treated and released.
