A twinkle here, a candy cane there, and lights all around the square. 'Tis the season for Christmas lights.
Besides word of mouth, how do you locate the best light displays?
A new website is helping Wichita residents rind the must-see displays of the season.
Millions of homes deck the halls and their lawns every Christmas, spreading holiday cheer to Elves of all ages.
Now, with the help of yulefinder.com, Santa and his eight tiny reindeer will not miss out on the best lit displays in Wichita.
"This was an opportunity for us to allow people to upload their own photo, put it on a map, share it with all their friends on social sites like facebook and twitter and youtube," said Ryan Cole, co-creator of yulefinder.com.
The site gives all the little boys and girls a chance to see the best homes across the city.
"I thought it was the best thing ever. I was like, my face is on fire. Wooo!" said one boy as he saw the home at 1122 N. Lawrence Ct.
It also gives creators like Scott Lawrence satisfaction after months of hard work.
"It brings joy. Everybody loves Christmas lights, and to have music, and to have somewhere to get out and walk around, young and old really enjoy it," said lawrence.
"I think I was in dream land when I saw my first light," said one girl as she took in all the lights.
If you are really in search of the best lights, yulefinder.com is only a starting point.
Pictures do not do the Griswoldesque displays justice.
"The picture is this big on the website, when you come out here, you see this crazy house. It's a lot of twinkling lights," said Cole.
