An autopsy has been completed on a Moundridge teenager who was reported missing for three days, however the Rice County Undersheriff says authorities do not suspect foul play in the case.
Undersheriff Harlan Brown tells KAKE News that there was no sign of trauma to Olivia Stucky's body. They are now waiting for toxicology reports, which may take 4-6 weeks.
The McPherson County Sheriff Department said late Wednesday that the 16-year-old girl was found dead in a rural area near the Rice/McPherson County line. The girl was reported missing Monday after telling her sister that she was going to school. She never showed up.
Authorities and her family became concerned because Stucky left behind her debit card and phone, along with other personal belongings. They said that was completely unlike her.
Detectives say a passer-by noticed a car matching the description that was broadcast on KAKE News and called 911. Deputies arrived and found Stucky dead inside.
