Wichita police want your input in fighting crime over the next four years.
Two surveys are posted online. One is on the strategic plan for the department for 2012-2014. The other asks about the police department's air unit.
Questions about crime issues, social issues and spending are just some of those listed in the survey. Police want to know in order of importance, what officers should be focusing on when they are not responding to 9-11 calls, neighborhood issues, drug or gang enforcement, youth or homeland security.
"Especially with tax dollars being limited, we need to put our money to good use and our resources to good use," said Lt. Doug Nolte of the Wichita Police Department.
