Two major daytime events have brought large crowds, and some problems to downtown Wichita.

The Get Motivated seminar combined with a job fair for the Kansas Star Casino are bringing thousands more people into downtown.

Some people attending the Get Motivated seminar at Intrust Bank Arena were moved to the satellite location at Century II because of the overflow crowd. Century II is also the location of the job fair.

"There will be a large influx of traffic that we're not accustomed to seeing during the daytime," said Wichita Police Captain Troy Livingston.

A number of parking options will be scattered throughout the area, including Lawrence Dumont Stadium and a surface lot across from the Mid-America All Indian Center.

"Some of the city lots that are normally available for arena shows will not be available," Boleski said.

You can check out those options at Intrust Bank Arena or Downtown Wichita Parking.

When it's time to go home, remember that a police officer may direct you to take a turn when you don't want to. But it's ultimately the fastest way to get the masses to exit as quickly as possible.
