You have probably heard about the dangers of small laundry packets. Young children think they are candy and eat them, causing serious healthy problems. Consumer experts want to reiterate the dangers after 500 incidents involving children and adults who were injured by the product.
The CPSC is advising parents and caregivers to lock up these laundry packets and keep them away from children.
Liquid laundry packets are attractive to children as play items because they are soft and colorful and they resemble familiar items like candy, toys and teething products.
Again, they are the single-load liquid laundry packets. And if you are having children at your home this holiday - lock them up in a secure place so kids can't get them.
