More than half of all vehicle fatalities in Wichita this year have been related to driving under the influence. There have been 25 vehicle fatalities in Wichita, 14 were DUI related.

Area high school students tied red ribbons on student and faculty vehicles to help increase awareness about drunk driving during the holiday season. This was part of the the activities planned for the third annual Holiday Drive for DUI Victims.
