The Sedgwick county Democratic watch party at Murdock Theater came to a close with no real answers for the candidates and voters. But they did have one reason to celebrate.
When the results came in that President Barack Obama had been re-elected, the place erupted with cheers and chants.
Even though they had reason to celebrate one big victory everyone we spoke with, voters and candidates, told us they were frustrated they didn't see a single number from Sedgwick county until 11 p.m.
We spoke with several candidates who've been through elections before and they say the problems with the results, were unacceptable.
"This is crazy, I mean New Jersey has their results up with all the problems they’ve had. The whole country has elected a president, and we have zero results in Sedgwick county. This is just ridiculous,” State Representative candidate, Tom Sawyer said.
“It's disappointing to have to wait this long, to get results from California and not get them from Sedgwick County is just aggravating,” Rep. Nile Dillmore (D) District 92, said.
