WASHINGTON - A smoke detector which doesn't sound at the crucial moment can put your family in danger. A line of detectors with flaws are being recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
They are the ESL and Interlogix brand 400/500 series smoke detectors. Radio frequency interference can cause the smoke detectors to fail to alert people of a fire.
These are popular fire detectors, as about 141,000 were sold in the U.S.
