Wichita's boathouse and the surrounding Waterwalk is on the city council's agenda again.
The council could consider ideas for how to use the building --including whether to tear it down. As you may remember--when the idea first surfaced a few years ago to get rid of the building it sparked some public outrage.
Waterwalk developers also asked for changes to the master plan. And with construction prices rising, the already $100 million development could end up costing more.
The council will vote on changing the master plan and moving ahead with phase one of development in the next couple of weeks.
If approved, construction of that phase would be done by next winter.
