Feedback from parents, staff, students and community members on the most recent Wichita school boundary supposal has been compiled into a report for the Board of Education and the Superintendent’s Focus Group to consider as they make decisions about boundary changes. The report is a combination of feedback of strengths, concerns and solutions from the Community Boundary Meetings held earlier this month, online surveys on the most recent supposal, emails sent to firstname.lastname@example.org and comments on the district’s Facebook page.
“The report is extensive and a lot for the Board and the Focus Group to go through,” said Superintendent John Allison. “Hundreds in our community have taken the opportunity to give us their feedback and suggestions on the boundary supposals and I want to thank them for that.”
The Superintendent's boundary focus group will meet tonight at 6:30 at North High School. Public comment will not be allowed at tonight's session.
