Wichita Clinic Bethel-Newton

Wichita Clinic physicians at Bethel in Newton are seeing patients with strep throat. One physician also treated a patient for Lyme disease. Though relatively uncommon in Kansas, it’s good to know how to protect yourself from ticks that carry the disease.

Cover up as much skin as you can when you're going to be in wooded or grassy areas, and keep in mind that it’s easier to see ticks on light-colored clothes. Use a bug spray on your skin that has the chemical DEET to repel ticks. Check your pets for ticks after they've been outside. You can't get Lyme disease from your pet, but your pet can bring infected ticks inside. These ticks can fall off your pet and attach to you.

Wichita Clinic Eberly Farm

Wichita Clinic physicians at Eberly Farm continue to see patients with allergies. They are also beginning to see kids for school physicals.

Wichita Clinic Murdock

Wichita Clinic Immediate Care physicians at Murdock also continue to see patients with allergies as well as sore throats and injuries.
