A Kingman family is moving forward with plans to rebuild a popular restaurant that burned to the ground.
It's been exactly one month since Jeri's Kitchen in Kingman caught fire in the middle of the night and burned. The state fire marshal released the building back to the Andersen family yesterday for demolition. Investigators say they may never know the cause of the fire.
The Andersens say this is the first step to rebuilding a restaurant they've owned for 20 years.
"The people that walk up on the street and tell you how sorry they are and hand you a donation, the support is overwhelming," said owner Jeri Andersen.
The Andersens hope to have the new restaurant up and running sometime this summer.
If you would like to make a donation to the family, you can contact the Citizen's Bank in Kingman.
