Prairie Rose to Hold First Western Days Festival

The Prairie Rose Chuckwagon Supper Club, a business formerly owned by Thomas Etheredge, is getting ready to hold a Western Festival. The Prairie Rose is getting ready for its first ever Western Days, which gets underway Friday.

The three day event will feature cowboy music, western movies, gunfights, wagon rides, and Native American dancers. Organizers say it will be fun and a great learning experience for people of all ages.

"This will not be just a reenactment," says headliner Michael Martin Murphy. "We're focusing on the history of the old west and really giving this an old west theme. It will be great fun and that's the reason it makes a better party."
