If you like to jitterbug and enjoy 40s music and sweetheart dances, you are in luck this Saturday night.
Honor Flight Wichita goes back to the World War II era with a fundrasier called Salute to Veterans.
What are they raising money for? To send more World War II veterans on Honor Flights to Washington, D.C.
Last month, they sent two flights, back-to-back. More than 200 World War II vets got to go on the trip of a lifetime free of charge.
This Saturday's fundraiser will go back to the 40s to do it with food, a dance contest, dance lessons and music from the 1940s all night long.
The salute to veterans will start at inside the Midwest Corporate aviation hangar at Jabara Airport at 5 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $50.
