A western Kansas man died after he pulled his car out in front of a semi truck yesterday afternoon.
The Kansas Highway Patrol stated Glen Hubin, 85, was crossing KS-156 from a private driveway, when the semi truck struck the vehicle at about noon.
The impact threw Hubin from the car and into a nearby ditch. He was pronounced dead about an hour later. Hubin was not wearing a seat belt. The semi truck driver was not hurt.
