Two inches of snowfall early this morning in Sedgwick County is leading to a dangerous commute for drivers on their way to work.
Since the snow started falling overnight, dozens of slide offs and minor accidents were reported to 911 dispatchers. One major accident was reported at about 6 a.m. at13th St. N. & I-135.
Road crews advise drivers to be wary on on-ramps and near Pawnee and I-135. These areas are reported to be snow packed.
Dispatchers for 911 said drivers should go slowly to work and be cautious.
The Emergency Accident Reporting Plan is in effect for the city of Wichita.
