Police officials say a man in his 40s has been arrested for the murder of a Wichita woman.

Officials say the man in custody lives at the home where the woman's body was found. His name has not been released.

"We're working this as a homicide. We have one man in custody and we are certain that this is domestic violence related," said Sgt. Jim Pinegar, Wichita Police.

It's not clear at this time what led investigators to determine the woman's death was a homicide.
