T-33 and B-52 Simulators Return to Kansas Aviation Museum

Saturday, March 24, 2012

The T-33 Simulator has returned to the Kansas Aviation Museum, upgraded with a 180 degree screen. Users are immersed in a flight experience when they climb into an actual T-33 cockpit and are surrounded by a 180 degree screen with high resolution images.

Take off from McConnell Air Force Base and fall into formation with a B-52, Air Force One, F-4 and more as they approach for touch and go exercises. This simulator is fully handicap accessible.

Admission for the simulator is $5 dollars for a full-day pass and unlimited flying time. No reservations are required.

Then on Friday, June 22nd, Saturday, June 23rd and Sunday, June 24th, the highly popular B-52 Simulator will return for a limited engagement at the Kansas Aviation Museum. Flight controls and visuals have been upgraded and the outside of the simulator painted to appear as the last B-52 that rolled off the line fifty years ago this year.

Admission for the simulator is $30 for fifteen minutes of flying time or $60 for two people. You must arrive fifteen minutes before your flight time.
