After a week full of food, fun and music, Riverfest closed with a packed party. The block party had around-the-clock entertainment from martial arts to Native American music and dance.

“It's definitely a good experience to be able to come out and do this and help share our culture you know,” visitor Sidney Toppah said.

A lot of the people we spoke with tell us Riverfest 2012 turned out to be an improvement from festivals past.

“It's been a lot better than it has been the last couple of years. There's more stuff to do and it's a nicer area,” visitor Bryonna Stacey said.

The zip line was a brand new attraction last year. It was so popular, the operators had to add to a second line across the river.

“We had a two-and-a-half-hour wait last year. This year was about 45 minutes to an hour. Right now coming into today, we were almost at 7,000 people and last year we ended up with about 5,200,” Shane Steinkamp, Director of Grizzly Adventures told us.

Steinkamp tells us the zip line will be back next year and the festival goers we spoke to say so will they.

"It was great. It's a wonderful thing for the community and we'll probably look up all the things we can do next year and do more,” Chellie Powers told us.
