Some say it's a sign the Kansas economy is on the road to recovery.
More than 100 businesses from across the state are looking for workers, and will be greeting applicants at a statewide job fair in Salina Tuesday.
Organizers spent the day setting up at the Salina Bicentennial Center for Tuesday's statewide job fair. One hundred and three companies are expected at the fair, including the Salina Media Group. It's looking for account executives and possible on air talent.
"I definitely think there will be a good response," said Salina Media Group's Susan Trafton. "It will be well worth a visit to this job fair."
The job fair was postponed last month because of a snow storm. Organizers are watching the weather carefully.
The statewide job fair is from 2:30 until 6:30 at the Salina Bicentennial Center.
