Wichita Police are investigating a new crime trend at tanning salons.
Police said someone is entering occupied tanning rooms and stealing purses. Most of the tanning salons do not have security cameras.
The suspect is described as a white man in his mid to late 30s, 6'2", 160 pounds with light brown hair. He is very tan, with dirty fingernails and missing teeth in the back of his mouth.
He was wearing a gray Nike T-shirt, brown cargo shorts and a gray baseball cap with a blue bill.
His vehicle is an older model green Honda Civic with Kansas license plate 204 DCH.
If you see the vehicle or suspect, call 911.
