Wichita Police officers are taking some proactive measures to combat the recent rash of gang violence.

This evening, a neighborhood meeting was held near 20th Street and Park Place, to inform neighbors of Sunday morning's shooting that left two men hurt.

"We've had them in the past where neighbors have walked up and given us information, which has ultimately led to an arrest a couple of days later. So, we want to give them that opportunity," said Officer Steve Jerrell.

Today, Wichita Police also released the list of the Top 10 Most Wanted Gang Members with felony warrants.

"This is an opportunity to become more proactive, and go after these individuals, help keep these gang members off balance a little bit, so we can put the pressure on, and give the community the opportunity and help us as well," said Lt. Scott Heimerman of the Wichita Police gang unit.

If you have information on any of the recent shootings, call 911 or Crime Stoppers at (316) 267-2111. You can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
