A Wichita solider was stabbed to death after a party in North Carolina.
Fort Bragg authorities said Pfc. Keyonn Parkin, 19, died in Greenville Saturday.
KAKE's sister station, WITN News, reports Parkin was stabbed late Friday night during a townhouse party.
Greenville police would not release any information on the stabbing,
other than the investigation is ongoing.
Parkin joined the Army in July 2010. He completed Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Benning, Ga., before being assigned to Fort Bragg in December 2010.
He is survived by his father, Dorrell Parkin Jr., of Norfolk, VA, and his mother, Patricia Simpson, of Wichita.
