More than 300 positions need to be filled in Cowley County.
"This year we're actually looking for more workers than we were last year," said Kerri Falletti, director of Cowley First.
Cowley First is organizing two job fairs this week to help employers with vacancies, like Rubbermaid.
Last year, Rubbermaid announced a $26.6 million expansion to the distribution center in Winfield. This year, they are need of 200 additional workers including technical positions.
"We're excited what the company is doing but it's a good thing for this community as well. It brings jobs," said Cliff Normore, human resources leader for Rubbermaid.
Tuesday's job fair will be held at Baden Square in Winfield from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Wednesday's job fair will be held at Cowley College Brown Center in Arkansas City from 3-7 p.m.
