A Wichita Heights High School graduate is dead after he was shot outside of a convenience store early Saturday in Columbia, Missouri.
Aaron Hobson, 22, of Mission, Kansas, was shot outside of a Break Time convenience store in Columbia. The shooting happened at about 1:15 a.m.
Police were responding to a report that several people were trespassing in the parking lot outside of the store. Upon arrival, officers observed multiple cars and people on the lot and then heard gunshots.
Hobson, a 2007 graduate of Wichita Heights High School, had been shot more than once in the chest. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
