Below is a list of area runners who completed the Boston Marathon today.

No one from Kansas has been reported hurt. Three people were killed, 23 were injured in two explosions at the finish line.

Jack Marvin of Wichita told KAKE News he was on a bus on his way back to his hotel when he heard the first explosion. He initially thought it was a cannon used to start a race. A short time later he heard the second blast and saw smoke rising from the finish line.

GoRun Wichita had four employees participating in the race. The group was not hurt.

"It's sad that it's at an event where people come together to have a good time, to achieve their goals, and then something like this has to happen," said Kevin Swinicki, owner of GoRun.

Runners World tweeted close to 6,000 runners were on the course at the time of the explosions.

According to Boston Marathon results, all of these area runners completed the course long before the explosions happened.
