The case against Thomas Etheredge, the former owner of the failed Wild West World theme park, is in the hands of a Sedgwick County jury.
Just after 1 o'clock Monday afternoon, Judge Ben Burgess gave the juror instructions before handing the floor back over to attorneys to give their closing statements.
Etheredge is charged with nine counts of securities fraud after accepting more than 700 thousand dollars from several Wild West World investors. The theme park closed ad went bankrupt about two months after opening.
The jury is to look into each of the nine counts separately and decide if Etheredge is guilty of his charges.
The jury will begin their deliberations first thing Tuesday,
