A 7-year-old boy is dead and three other people are hurt after an accident late Sunday night in western Kansas.
It happened shortly before midnight about five miles west of Grainfield on I-70.
Kansas Highway Patrol investigators say the driver of a crossover was heading west on I-70, when she went into the inside shoulder. The driver over-corrected and crossed both lanes, leaving the highway and landing in a ditch. That's when the vehicle rolled once before coming to rest right-side-up.
Tate Siruta of Colby died in the crash. The driver and two other passengers were hurt and taken to a local hospital.
