RAYTOWN, Mo. (AP) -- Police are investigating the deaths of four people, two of them children, found in a suburban Kansas City apartment.
Raytown police suspect foul play but are not saying how the people died.
Raytown police Capt. Ted Bowman said a relative discovered the bodies Monday afternoon when checking after not hearing from them. Neighbors told police they thought they heard gunshots, but Bowman would not release a cause of death.
Bowman said the victims were an adult man, an adult women and two boys. The four victims were related, but he did not know the specific relationship. He did say the children's mother and father were not among the victims.
A baby boy who was in the apartment was unharmed. Bowman said the baby was not related to the two dead children.
Both of those children were boys and were preteens. Bowman said identities of all the victims had not been confirmed.
