Vandals caused major damage at a local car dealership over the weekend and now the dealership owner is offering big bucks to find out who did it.
The vandals hit a dozen Dodge vehicles at the Davis Moore dealership on East Kellogg.
They broke through windows and tore out consoles, taking off with stereos, DVD players, navigation systems and even car batteries.
It happened sometime late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.
A tally of the damage is at least $25,000.
"I take it personal. I'm from Wichita and I do a lot of things in this community. And for someone to come in here and tear up my cars like this, to me they might as well just have stolen my dog because these cars are how I make my living," said Davis Moore Owner Dawson Grimsley.
To make sure these vandals don't keep on making a living this way Grimsley is now offering up a $5,000 reward for any information that will lead to their arrest and conviction.
He also has a plea to all pawn shop owners if someone brings in new car stereo or navigation systems.
"Contact me. Just call the dealership and say let me talk to Dawson and we'll catch these guys and hopefully put them out of business," said Grimsley.
