A dispute between rival gang members likely led to a shooting in southeast Wichita, officials said.
It happened outside a restaurant near Harry and Rock Road around 2:20 a.m. Friday.
Police said two groups of people were arguing inside, when they took the fight outside. The dispute turned violent, and three people were hurt from gunshot wounds.
A 19-year-old man remains in critical condition after a bullet struck him in the head. Two other people, a 21-year-old and 24-year-old man were shot in the back. They are expected to recover.
Police said a related drive-by shooting also occurred in the 2200 block of S. Stoneybrook. Investigators said multiple shots hit three homes and three cars. No one was hurt.
No arrests have been made.
Police said the May shooting also started in the same parking lot and was gang related. That shooting led to the unsolved murder of 39-year-old Thuong Phan.
