A man has been arrested after a hit and run accident in west Wichita.
It happened near 13th and St. Paul around 9:15 a.m. Friday. Witnesses said a man struck three vehicles going eastbound on 13th St.
Police say the driver hit a vehicle at the intersection of 13th St. and West St. and proceeded to leave the accident. The driver then struck a van, causing it to flip at 13th St. and St. Paul. He also continued to hit a van at the same intersection.
Another witness, who heard the crash, proceeded to check on the driver of the car. She saw him put on one shoe and started fleeing the scene. The woman, along with police, chased the driver to a nearby church.
Officers arrested a 27-year-old man for driving on a suspended license.
