An internationally-known magician giving back to some people who could use some magical Christmas cheer.

John Born came back home to Wichita for the holidays. For the past three years, he has spread holiday cheer with his magic tricks at the Lord's Diner.

"Such a neat deal to be able to show up and give back because magic is all about making people smile and enjoy themselves. And it just adds to the holiday spirit," said Born.

Born has been performing magic since he was 12 and has given performances in more than 100 cities in 10 different countries. He has also written several books, including his latest book Cheating At Texas Hold’em.

"I feel very blessed to have found something that I love to do. And really magic is all about giving a feeling of happiness and amazement," said Born. "Especially during the holiday season I think it's just a wonderful thing and I'm so happy to be able to offer it."
