Ponca City Police are looking for help with an investigation that started on New Year's Day.
Police received a call on New Year's Day at 9:42 a.m. from a resident in the 1300 block of S. 7th St. The caller told the officer that a friend, Aaron Asbury, was at his home and was experiencing some medical issues.
The ambulance crew transported Asbury to the Ponca City Medical Center.
According to Asbury's father, he was contacted by police more than 12 hours after his son was admitted to the hospital because he had no identification and no one was at the house when police arrived.
Asbury was transported to a Wichita hospital three days later and remains in a coma.
The case remains under investigation.

Ponca City Police found a teen unconcious at a home in the 1300 block of S. 7th St. in Ponca City, on New Year's Day, shortly before 10 a.m.
The teen had no identificatioin on him and was taken to Ponca City Medical Center where he remained as John Doe for more than 12 hours.
"Police said they just could not believe that nobody stayed there with him," said Ron Asbury, son is in a coma at a Wichita hospital.
A nurse recognized the 19-year-old as Aaron Asbury of Ark City. Asbury was a former champion wrestler.
Now, he is in a hospital bed with kidney and liver failure.
"I just want to know how and why it happened," said his father. "I'm not saying my son's a saint but I'm saying he didn't deserve this."
Asbury's father got an anonymous call this week telling him his son may have been poisoned by someone slipping him synthetic drugs like bath salts.
Ponca City Police are continuing their investigation. They cannot confirm or deny allegations of synthetic drugs since they are waiting for lab samples.
