Additional charges have been filed in the death of a North Newton toddler.
Harvey County Attorney David Yoder said a charge of felony first degree murder has been filed against Chad Carr. Carr also faces two counts of aggravated battery and two counts of child abuse. Carr's bond is set at $300,000.
An autopsy shows 19-month-old Vincent Hill died from blunt force trauma and asphixiation. The child was found unresponsive in a North Newton home in March.
No additional charges have been filed against Hill's mother, Kathryn Dale. Both Dale and Carr are held in the Harvey County Jail.
