Valley Center Schools are looking at several changes in the schedule.
One option would mean school would start later in the fall and end earlier in the spring, cutting out part of Christmas and Spring breaks. The other option would mean starting class with students an hour late on Wednesdays. The changes would give the teachers time to talk and discuss creative ways to teach.
The district will be surveying the community before allowing the school board to vote on the issue.
