Hundreds of laid-off workers are going back to school.
The Wichita Area Technical College is expecting a huge increase in enrollment over the next few weeks.
Roughly 7,000 people have already lost their jobs in Wichita and that number is expected to swell to 10,000 by summer.
“We are expecting a lot of retraining and job opportunities where we can get people retrained to go back into the workforce,” said Sheree Utash from WATC.
