SALINA, Kan. (AP) -- A jury is deliberating the case of a former central Kansas school board member accused of threatening to kill his ex-wife.
Gary Olson is charged in Saline County District with two felony counts of criminal threat and a misdemeanor count of harassment by telephone.
Jurors resume deliberations Friday after nearly three days of testimony by Olson and his former wife, Connie Olson.
Olson is a former member of the Southeast of Saline School Board and his wife is a fifth-grade teacher at the school.
Olson admitted on the witness stand Thursday that he followed his wife to school on Sept. 5, 2007, and told her by cell phone that maybe he'd "get a gun and shoot" her.
Connie Olson testified Wednesday about his alleged threat.
He is also accused of making a threat against the school, which was locked down for two hours that day.
