"Makeover" Project Running Behind; Framers Needed

ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is asking for 20 more framers to help them build the Tutwiler's new home in Chapman.

A producer with the show said crews are running behind schedule
due to rain, concrete not curing fast enough and an incredibly extreme amount of projects. They advise framers to show up at the build site on sixth street in Chapman with their tools

The "Extreme Makeover" team is building a home for the family of Patrick Tutwiler. The Iraq War veteran was shot while on his tour of duty overseas. He returned home with a traumatic brain injury, memory loss, speech problems and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Less than a year later, his family home was destroyed in the June 11 Chapman tornado.

For the next few days, they're on an all-expense paid Disney Cruise to the Bahamas. They're scheduled to come back Tuesday to witness the grand unveiling of the home.

ABC has not decided when the Chapman episode of Extreme Makeover will air, but the company said it should be in January or February of 2009.
