A Park City grocery store is counting its blessings today after a man steals prescription drugs from the pharmacy overnight.
Leekers Family Foods has been located in Park City for more than fifty years. In all that time, owner John Leeker says, he has never had any break-ins, robberies or burglaries. After last night, Leeker says he now questions the store's security.
"Concerned, concerned," Leeker says. "We have an all night janitor in here, a lady. He was in here. We locked him in here last night. He hid in the store. He did all of this while she was in here. That's the thing that worries you."
Photos taken from the store surveillance video show a man wearing dark clothing, a white baseball cap and a mustache walking into the store about 9:30 last night . After entering, the man made his way to a bathroom trying to get into the ceiling, and was unsuccessful.
He then climbed into the ceiling from the deli, and eventually made his way across the store to the pharmacy where he dropped down and stole prescription drugs.
After taking the drugs, the man left the store through a side door, triggering the alarm system. If you recognize the man in the photos, or have any information about the suspect, call the Park City Police Department at 744-2011.
