When Senate Democrats vote tomorrow night on whether to start debate on their health care plan, they'll need the backing of three wavering moderates in their party.
And one of them, Ben Nelson of Nebraska, confirms he'll vote "yes."
The moderate lawmaker told Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., that he would vote with rank-and-file Democrats to move ahead on the legislation.
In a statement, Nelson says the Senate should try to fix a health care system that costs too much and delivers too little for Nebraskans.
Mary Landrieu (LAN'-droo) of Louisiana has suggested she'll also vote with her Democratic colleagues, so the spotlight is now on Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas.
