You might see a familiar face if you plan on watching the season premiere of 'Grey's Anatomy.'
Wichita native Arriane Alexander is guest-starring in the season premiere airing Thursday night on KAKE.
Alexander grew up in Wichita and graduated from Southeast High. She attended Kansas State before moving to L.A. where she currently works as an actress, host and singer in Los Angeles.
"I am grateful I get to do what I love each day,” said Alexander. “I’m just a girl from Kansas who didn’t grow up dreaming about being an actor, but here I am. In fact, I have to pinch myself all the time.”
She said landing the role on 'Grey's' was a dream come true.
"To be on set with Ellen Pompeo, Justin Chambers and Kevin McKidd was like watching a dream come true," Alexander said. "These people are at the top of their game."
The 'Grey's premiere picks up where last season left off following a devastating plane crash. It airs at 8 p.m. on KAKE.
