Sharks + tornados + 90s-era actors = biggest Syfy movie hit in years.

Syfy's original movie "Sharknado" grabbed the U.S. consciousness and stormed the Internet as it aired Thursday night on the cable channel, leaving a path of destruction where no shark-tornado puns will ever live again.

One review on movie website IMDB called the film "gloriously incompetent and gleefully terrible."

"Absolutely nothing make [sic] sense. Physics and natural laws are ignored. Horrible CGI and cringe-worthy dialog. Outrageous continuity exceeded only by horrible color correction and clunky editing. The all together wooden acting no doubt achieved in single takes is sincere, earnest and fails on levels that should win awards," the review read. "And you can't stop watching."
