Kansas City, Mo. (ABC) -- Miley Cyrus has been hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics, according to Sprint Center in Kansas City, where she was to perform her "Bangerz" show tonight.
Cyrus "has been placed on medical rest by her doctors. She will not be able to perform as scheduled. Refunds for tickets will be available at the point of ticket purchase. Tickets purchased online or by phone will be automatically refunded," the center said in a statement.
"Kansas I promise Im as as you are. I wanted so badly 2 b there 2night. Not being with yall makes me feel sh***ier than I already do," she tweeted. "Mr. Octopussy & some amazing Drs are taking good care of me."
Details on her condition were not immediately available.
Just last month, one of Cyrus‘ tour buses caught fire and went up in flames while en route to the singer’s next tour stop in New Orleans. The cause of the fire was unknown, but no one was injured, according to Cyrus’ younger sister Noah, who tweeted about the incident. “Yes, everyone got out safe no one is injured what so ever!! everything is okay!!” Noah Cyrus wrote.
The Bangerz Tour is the fourth for Cyrus, off the studio album Bangerzshe released last year. The tour began in Vancouver Feb. 14, 2014 and will move to Europe on May 2, 2014.
It was not immediately clear how many shows she would miss because of the hospitalization.
