Art displays in a busy Wichita location have become the target of vandals. In this week's Crime Stoppers report, Sgt. Scott Plummer says your tips can help find the people responsible.
Sometime between Thursday, November 24 and Monday, November 28 over Thanksgiving weekend, two sculptures that are part of a traveling art display were vandalized in front of the Old Town parking garage at 2nd Street and Mosley Street.
One sculpture of a five foot tall lady walking her dog was destroyed. The second may be able to be repaired. The sculptures were part of the Art Council's Annual Sculpture Walkabout Project and were valued at $7500.
