A juvenile is recovering from a gunshot wound after a drive-by shooting in El Dorado Monday.

The shooting happened around 9 p.m. in the 1500 block of W. 1st Ave. Investigators said someone in a green SUV drove by and fired one shot at the juvenile. The bullet struck the victim in the leg.

The boy walked to his nearby home after the shooting. His parents contacted police. The victim was taken to a Wichita hospital for treatment and later released.

Authorities have arrested a suspect in the case.
